Vehicle used: Thar DI 4WD

Inclines @ 45 degrees

Wheels: 15 inch

Winch power: can lug 10000LBs (was not used though)

Path: Forest Ranger Trekking tracks through estates and 3 water falls

Deep foliage, shrubs and plants as much as 5 feet tall at places

At times the front overhang pointed straight out of the edge of the path which was 1000 feet deep

Isuzu MU7 lacked something that I cherish most n a 4 Wheeler- the 4 Wheel Drive. For all the oodles of torque and scoops of power in BHP, this vehicle seemed to me like a BLAND n COSTLY 4 wheeler that had the branding of the Best Diesel engine manufacturer alone in its offering. Somehow I take it for a spin, pointed the Speedo needle to 180KMPH and then tried it on a dusty road.

For a vehicle of this size and that is riding on its rear wheels, I thought DRIFT was a natural phenomenon. I tried it and the dust filled video clipping is for yours to feast on.

This vehicle may not have all the gizmos in it and for Rs.27 Lakhs you might think that its too costly. But I think that it can last a lifetime cos of its build quality, the sturdy feel and the awesome engine that can eat close to a million kilometres before going for its first overhaul.

Try this out guys if you want to have an investment of a lifetime in a vehicle. I know that you are asking me........... errrr........... I've just changed my 7th vehicle in under 3 years!!!!
